How to get all out glamour in your home

When it comes to creating a glamorous look in your home, it pays to take note of the old adage 'more is more'! Glamour is all about creating a sense of luxury, opulence and grandeur which can be achieved through a combination of luxe colours, textures and dramatic contrast. Here are our top tips:

Contrast

Creating a contrast of dramatically different colours is a sure-fire way creating a show stopping look. Whether you opt for inky dark walls with pops of colour or a glowing gold wall (like the Eastern Light mosaics, shown above) with dark furniture or fittings, this can really work - though it's not for the faint of heart.

Metallics

Gold, silver, copper - it doesn't matter which you favour as these metallic hues are all associated with luxuriousness. If you've ever been told that you can't mix different metals, you can! Mixing and matching shades such as gold, silver and copper can enhance your space, making it feel both elegant and eclectic. If you have a copper tile, for example, try adding silver or gold accents to elevate the look.

Scale

Instead of tiling a small splashback area why not cover a whole wall? This will result in a look that is grand, unique and looks gorgeous. Depending on the tile you choose, it could also add texture, warmth or create a moody and atmospheric space - take inspiration from this dining space tiled with Caeli decorative glass (shown right) as this is  perfect for intimate meals or glamorous dinner parties.

Decorative effects

Choosing products that feature decorative effects is a great way of adding glamour to any space. Whether it's pearlescent, textured, glittered or reflective, the effect will be stunning, especially on a large scale.
