H is for Hallways - A to Z of tiling

We are discussing tiling your hall this week in the Style Files, so here are a few things to consider before you decide what to go for - and of course some inspirational images to help you choose!

Tiles are a practical choice for hallways and you certainly don't have to compromise on good looks over practicality. For floors consider:

Will they stand up to wear and tear?
Are they suitable for your needs?
Are they easy to clean and maintain?

Always check the suitability of your chosen tile/s before you buy (in the brochure and on the website), and for fixing instructions visit our Installation Guides.

And of course, the main thing is to get tiles that look good and fit with the rest of your home décor. You are spoilt for choice if your home is traditional Edwardian or Victorian: our Victorian Floor Tiles will be completely at home here. Our Odyssey tiles will provide a warm welcome too, perhaps reminding you of travels further afield than the local high street! And if you like the idea of natural materials such as stone or wood, Add a real wow factor to your hallway with stone from Earthworks or the Tileworks range of incredibly realistic stone and wood effect tiles that are in fact made from porcelain.
